ABOUT
Jon Martens is a 17-year-old actor and multidisciplinary creative from Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey. He began dancing at age two, and he’s been captivating audiences ever since, from stage to screen.
Outside the industry, Jon composes music, plays guitar, surfs, writes short films, and plays tennis.
Jon is involved in many philanthropic pursuits at his school and in his community. He served as his sophomore class president, organized “A Night Without a Bed” to raise awareness of homelessness, and regularly volunteers at Jon Bon Jovi’s Soul Kitchen, a nonprofit community restaurant that supports neighbors in need.
Jon’s creative curiosity extends well beyond performance. He crochets, throws pottery, and has a genuine passion for fashion—a journey that began when he founded his school’s fashion club and helped launch a nonprofit chapter of ReMake, advocating for ethical and sustainable practices in the industry.
As an artist, Jon gravitates toward character-driven work and grounded humanity, approaching each project with discipline, warmth, and a collaborative spirit. Jon brings intention, craftsmanship, and heart to the center of his storytelling.
More about me…
A natural storyteller with a grounded, athletic presence, Jon brings the same focus to his work on stage and screen that he honed on the lacrosse field, the tennis court, and in the pool—where he ranked among the top athletes in his county.
A lifelong lover of the outdoors, Jon is a certified lifeguard, holds CPR certification, and has completed advanced life-support training.
When he’s not performing, you can find him surfing, crafting new songs on his guitar, experimenting in the kitchen, or traveling with friends. He also has a loyal dog who works professionally as a therapy service animal in hospitals around the country.
About my training…
Jon’s training includes Acting and Voice at The Prep, where he studies under esteemed celebrity acting coach, owner, and founder, Theresa Pittius. He also trains in vocal performance with acclaimed composer and vocal coach Bobby Cronin. He is a member of the inaugural class of The Prep Conservatory, where he commits to 12+ hours a week in on-camera, theatrical, voice-over, and commercial acting techniques.
